InDesign Training Overview

Accelebrate's Advanced Adobe InDesign training teaches attendees the advanced InDesign skills they need to create sophisticated documents for print or electronic distribution.

InDesign Training Prerequisites

Introduction to Adobe InDesign CS2 or equivalent experience.

Hands-on/Lecture Ratio

This training class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 20 minutes.

InDesign Training Materials

All students will receive a copy of Adobe Press' Adobe® InDesign® CS2 Classroom in a Book, as well as copies of the instructor's presentation and a CD-R with all files used in the class.

Software Needed on Each PC

Adobe InDesign CS2 or later (for Windows or Mac)
At least 512MB RAM (1GB recommended)
A graphics card with at least 64MB RAM is recommended for performance reasons, but is not required

InDesign Training Objectives

Learn how to use nested master pages, object styles, and paragraph styles
Use books, indexes, tables of contents, and section markers to make long documents more navigable and manageable
Master advanced techniques for working with graphics in your InDesign documents
