Authorware Training Overview

Adobe Authorware is the leading tool for building interactive, data-driven e-learning applications. This class, designed for first-time Authorware users, teaches attendees all the Authorware skills they need to immediately begin building online courses.

Location and Pricing

Most Accelebrate courses are taught on-site at our clients' locations worldwide for groups of 3 or more attendees and are customized to their specific needs. These courses can also be delivered as live, private online classes for groups that are geographically dispersed or wish to save on the instructor's or students' travel expenses. Authorware Training Prerequisites

Prior experience with Windows or Macintosh computers is presumed.

Hands-on/Lecture Ratio

This Authorware training class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 15 minutes. Students "learn by doing," with immediate opportunities to apply the material they learn to real-world problems.

Authorware Training Materials

All Authorware training students receive a copy of OnWord Press's latest Authorware book and related course material.

Software Needed on Each Student PC

  • Authorware 6, 6.5, 7, or later (Authorware 7.02 or later recommended)
  • Firefox 2.0 or later or Internet Explorer 6 or later
  • Dreamweaver MX 6.0 or later (if a demonstration is desired of adding an Authorware application to a Web page)
