Captivate Training Overview
Accelebrate's Introduction to Adobe Captivate 4 course teaches attendees how to use Captivate® to create simulations, software demonstrations, and scenario-based training.
Accelebrate also offers Advanced Adobe Captivate 4 training.
Location and Pricing
Most Accelebrate courses are taught on-site at our clients' locations worldwide for groups of 3 or more attendees and are customized to their specific needs. Please visit our client list to see organizations for whom we have recently delivered training. These courses can also be delivered as live, private online classes for groups that are geographically dispersed or wish to save on the instructor's or students' travel expenses. Captivate Training Prerequisites
No prior Captivate experience is presumed.
Hands-on/Lecture Ratio
This training class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 20 minutes.
Captivate Training Materials
All attendees receive comprehensive, illustrated courseware covering all topics in the course.
Software Needed on Each PC
- Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or 7
- At least 1GB RAM
- 500MB available hard drive space
- Monitor capable of at least 1024 x 768 resolution
- Adobe Captivate 4 or later
- Modern browser with Adobe Flash Player 9 or later installed
Captivate Training Objectives
All attendees will learn how to:
- Use Captivate to record screen activity in a variety of modes
- Enhance Captivate content with images, pointer paths, buttons, and highlight boxes
- Add rollover captions, zoom areas, animation, and Flash content
- Create Image Slideshows
