Java Training Overview
Accelebrate's Advanced Java™ Programming training course teaches Java developers a set of advanced Java development skills, including generics, threads, reflection, annotations, and sockets.
Location and Pricing

Java Training Prerequisites
Students should have solid Java programming experience, especially object-oriented use of the language. Language features and techniques that are integral to some lab exercises include interfaces and abstract classes, threading, generics and collections, and recursive methods. Our Beginning Java Application Development class is recommended.
Hands-on/Lecture Ratio
This Java training course is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 20 minutes.
Java Training Materials
All students for this Java training course receive a copy of O'Reilly's Head First Java, which is used as the instructional guide for the course, as well as related courseware.
Software Needed on Each PC
- Any operating system that supports Java 1.6, 1.7, or later, Core 2 Duo or faster processor, and at least 3GB RAM
- Java SE SDK version 1.6, 1.7, or later (downloadable from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html)
- The Java development environment the students are likely to use after the class (Eclipse, available free at http://www.eclipse.org, is recommended)
