Adobe Director Training Overview

Director is Adobe's leading application for multimedia development. In this five-day, hands-on Adobe Director training course, attendees master the process of creating and publishing multimedia applications using Director MX 2004.

Adobe Director Training Prerequisites

Prior experience with Windows or Macintosh computers is presumed. Previous experience developing multimedia applications is beneficial but not required. This course can be customized to virtually any level of attendee expertise.

Hands-on/Lecture Ratio

This Director training class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 15 minutes. Students "learn by doing," with immediate opportunities to apply the material they learn to real-world problems.

All Adobe Director training attendees receive copies of Adobe Press's Director MX 2004: Training from the Source and related materials.

Software Needed on Each Student PC

  • Adobe Director MX 2004
  • A web browser with the Shockwave plug-in installed
  • If the Using Flash section is to be taught, both Flash 8 and a browser with the Flash 8 plug-in
