Flex 4 Training Overview

Accelebrate's Introduction to Adobe Flex 4 training teaches attendees how to develop rich, data-driven applications using the Flex framework.

Location and Pricing

Flex 4 Training Prerequisites

Prior experience in a modern programming language is required.  Prior object-oriented programming experience in C++, Java, C#, VB.NET, or ActionScript 3.0 is recommended, but this course can be adjusted for students without this prior background.

Hands-on/Lecture Ratio

This Flex training class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 20 minutes.

Flex 4 Training Materials

All students will receive a copy of Wiley's Flash Builder 4 and Flex 4 Bible and related course materials.

Software Needed on Each PC

  • Java JRE 1.5 or 1.6
  • Adobe Flex Builder 4 or later
  • Modern web browser with Flash Player (debug version)10 or later
  • Related lab files

  • Program in ActionScript 3.0 to build a Flex/Flash Builder Application
