HTML5 Training Overview
Accelebrate's HTML5 training class, intended for experienced HTML developers with some JavaScript experience, teaches the new features of HTML5 and how to put them to immediate use.
Location and Pricing
Most Accelebrate courses are taught on-site at our clients' locations worldwide for groups of 3 or more attendees and are customized to their specific needs. HTML5 Training Prerequisites
All attendees must be fluent in HTML 4 and have practical experience with the basics of CSS and JavaScript. Prior knowledge of JSON, DOM, and Ajax is helpful but not required.
Hands-on/Lecture Ratio
This HTML5 training class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 10 minutes. Students "learn by doing," with immediate opportunities to apply the material they learn to real-world problems.
HTML5 Training Materials
All attendees receive comprehensive courseware and a copy of New Riders' Introducing HTML5.
Software Needed on Each Student PC
- The Web page or text editor that students will be using after class
- One of the following browsers:
- Firefox 3.6 or later
- Internet Explorer 9 or later
- Google Chrome 7.0 or later
- Safari 5 or later
- Opera 10.5 or later
- If space on a web server is available, students may also wish to bring their mobile devices so they can test how pages appear on these devices
