ADO.NET Training Overview
Accelebrate's ADO.NET Training: ADO.NET Using Visual Basic 2010 course teaches attendees how to use ADO.NET, Microsoft's architecture for integrating data from relational databases, XML documents, and other sources with your applications. Students learn to connect to data sources, retrieve and manipulate data, and perform data updates.

ADO.NET Training Prerequisites
All attendees should have a basic knowledge of SQL and of programming the .NET Framework using Visual Basic and understand the fundamentals of XML. A working knowledge of SQL Server and writing simple Windows Forms applications is also desirable.
Hands-on/Lecture Ratio
This ADO.NET Training Using Visual Basic 2010 class is 70% hands-on, 30% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 15-20 minutes.

- Windows XP with Service Pack 3 or Windows Vista or 7 with at least 3GB RAM

- SQL Server or SQL Server 2008 Express (which comes with Visual Studio 2010) with sample databases that Accelebrate provides
