Duration: 1 day
view class outline RELAX NG Training Overview
Accelebrate's RELAX NG training teaches attendees how to write and use RELAX NG schemas.
Location and Pricing
Most Accelebrate courses are taught on-site at our clients' locations worldwide for groups of 3 or more attendees and are customized to their specific needs. Please visit our client list to see organizations for whom we have recently delivered training. These courses can also be delivered as live, private online classes for groups that are geographically dispersed or wish to save on the instructor's or students' travel expenses. To receive a customized proposal and price quote private training at your site or online, please contact us.
In addition, some courses are available as live, online classes for individuals. To see a schedule of online courses, please visit http://www.accelebrate.com/online_training/?action=categorygroup&page=xml.
RELAX NG Training Prerequisites
All attendees must have a solid understanding of XML and what makes an XML document well-formed. Prior XPath and or XML Schema experience is helpful but not required.
Hands-on/Lecture Ratio
This RELAX NG training class is 60% hands-on, 40% lecture, with the longest lecture segments lasting for 20 minutes. Students 'learn by doing' with immediate opportunities to apply the material they learn to real-world problems.
RELAX NG Training Materials
All RELAX NG training students receive a copy of O'Reilly's RELAX NG and courseware.
Software Needed on Each Student PC
- RELAX NG-validating XML editor of your choice. If you do not have a preference, we would be happy to present suggestions
- Related lab files

I came away from this class with a good ability to read and understand an XML schema. After just two days, I feel comfortable working with schemas and know this will help me greatly as I encounter them in the future. Thank you. |
