AWS CodePipeline Training Overview

This AWS CodePipeline training course teaches attendees how to implement DevOps through Continuous Integration and Continuous Development utilizing AWS CodePipeline. Students build out an effective CI/CD pipeline that allows their code to progress from code generation through code deployment in an automated process.

Objectives

  • Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline that can be utilized to allow for multiple deployments per day
  • Compile code, run unit tests, and deploy code to AWS assets like EC2 or Lambda
  • Work with Git hooks
  • Create and run effective unit tests and test mocking
  • Compile scripts in bash and deployment using tools like Terraform

Prerequisites

Students must have some experience with Terraform and some DevOps experience. Basic knowledge of Python is required.
