Introduction to JIRA and Confluence
This introduction to JIRA and Confluence class teaches students how to configure custom JIRA instances and properly piece them together in a cohesive manner. Attendees learn how to work with Issue types, Project types, Workflow design and customization, custom fields, plugins, permissions, user management, and different scheme types for administration.
Students also use Confluence in conjunction with JIRA to create, organize, and discuss work within a team environment, as well as manage pages, create spaces for collaboration, and much more.

There are no prerequisites for this class.
All attendees receive comprehensive courseware covering all topics in the course.
Software needed for each student PC:
An up to date laptop or computer with a current version of Google Chrome and Internet access.
For classes delivered online, all participants need either dual monitors or a separate device logged into the online session so that they can do their work on one screen and watch the instructor on the other. A separate computer connected to a projector or large screen TV would be another way for students to see the instructor's screen simultaneously with working on their own.
