Visual Storytelling Training Overview

The Visual Storytelling for Designers training course teaches how to develop presentations through storytelling and narratives that win stakeholder buy-in and galvanize change. Taking audience background and motivations into account, attendees learn how to visually plan a presentation through hands-on storyboarding before moving on to creating a fully animated presentation.

Objectives

All students learn how to:

Prerequisites

Students must have:

  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following design tools: Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, or Figma
  • Working knowledge of at least one of the following presentation tools: Keynote, Google Slides, or PowerPoint
  • Preferably some experience with video and animation tools, such as iMovie, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe After Effects, Camtasia
