The Client: A fast-growing, mid-sized technology company

The Challenges

1. The client's staff were struggling to setup, configure, and tear down servers fast enough to keep pace with the company's rapid growth
2. They had selected Red Hat Ansible as the tool to automate these processes but needed to uniformly train 24 staff members
3. They wanted the training to be consistent with, and relevant to the Ansible features and processes currently in place

The Solution

• Met with key managers and the company CEO to discuss the firm's challenges adopting Ansible and planned use cases
• Customized the Ansible training to focus on the client's specific use cases and highest priority features
• Allocated one (1) hour of time at the end of each training day with the instructor and an SME within the client's organization to compare the Ansible methods and processes shown to those currently in use
• Delivered the five-day class three times for eight attendees in each class
• After each training, further refined the training for the next delivery
• Developed and administered a pre-class assessment that was used to gauge learners' knowledge of Linux, with training content adjusted to fill in the gaps
• Developed and administered a post-class assessment that was used to gauge learners' success learning the material
