Prerequisites:

Students should already be comfortable working in a Linux or Unix environment. Fundamentals such as the Linux filesystem, process management, and how to edit files will not be covered in class. An understanding of network concepts and the TCP/IP protocol, as taught in our Linux Fundamentals course, is helpful.

Training Materials:

All Linux training attendees receive comprehensive courseware and a related textbook.

Software Requirements:

  • Windows, Mac, or Linux PCs with at least 8 GB RAM
  • Accelebrate can provide a VirtualBox or VMware environment with all software needed for the class
    • This class can be taught using the Linux distribution of your choice
